Hope for the Homeless

Our colleague Tim Alanthwaite is riding 240 miles in three days from 6-8 July 2017 in support of The Northampton Hope Centre. This is a very fine charity that helps people to cope with adversity and put their lives back together.

Many of us have looked into the abyss but been fortunate enough not to have fallen in.  basilico is supporting this effort and is keen to help those that have not been so lucky.

The rest of the Hope team are mostly young, fit and keen cyclists.  As Tim is none of these, and must get from Northampton to Belgium at their pace rather than his, we’ve lent him a pizza bike which is 'pedal assist'.  As long as he pedals, it will assist.  Until the battery runs out.  Which won’t take long unless he works hard along the way.
So, please give generously if you are able.

The Northampton Hope Centre work to relieve poverty and tackle the causes of homelessness. You can find out more about their work here.
